Frequently Asked Questions

Why have a Massage?

Murray and Warren
In order to look and feel your best, during all stages of your life, body maintenance is essential. Just as it’s important to exercise, it’s equally as important to make sure you aren’t harboring injuries or body misalignment’s. Stiff and rigid muscles can create many problems for us, and generally do not get better with time.

Even if you are already exercising regularly and eating well, body treatments are still highly useful in order to maximize your good efforts.

Which Treatment Will Suit Me?

frequently_asked_questions_2All our therapists are highly trained. They offer a wide variety of treatments that include releasing painful muscle tension, improving circulation, increasing joint flexibility and reducing mental and physical fatigue. If left untreated, muscle disorders can lead to pathological conditions and/or disease, so it is essential to have a proper assessment made in order to determine which is the best treatment for you.

What Should I Expect on my First Visit?

You will always be asked for your medical history details on your first visit. This helps determine treatment priorities. Your problems may have built up over time, so allow for more than one or two treatments to help overcome them. Most massage techniques require that you be at least partially undressed, but all areas of the body except the part being worked on will be covered with towels, as much as is practicable. It is preferable if you leave your underwear on.

How Many Treatments Will I Need?

The longer a condition is present, the longer it can take to heal.
